Professional Life

I am a technology leader with over a decade of experience working in diverse industries such as Technology, Finance, Telecoms and Sports Analytics.
I work at DoiT international as a Staff Cloud Architect.
- I run a multi-disciplinary team of Cloud Engineers and Architects who support customers architecting, implementing and operating workloads of all shapes and sizes in the Cloud.
I am experienced at delivering insight to businesses using data solutions on both Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
- Most of my work involves machine learning, I am passionate about building ML pipelines which can be scaled, improved and changed over time.
- ML needs data and I often work with customers on their Data Lake or Data Warehouse projects, providing insight on how to build data intensive application which can scale.
- I am an AWS Partner ML Blackbelt, I was nominated by DoiT to undertake this invitation only certification. My project was recognised by AWS Solutions Architects to be “bar raising”. AWS Blackbelts participate in the AWS community and have regular contact with SAs and AWS product managers.

I grew up in North Yorkshire and moved to London to study for my Masters Degree in Computing from Imperial College London.
When I’m (not) working I enjoy drinking coffee, I’ve done some of my most productive thinking while brewing a V60 pour over or pulling an espresso shot.
When I’m not drinking coffee I like to keep in shape. I run a half marathon most years and enjoy exploring the places I visit when travelling with a long run.
